Please confirm or otherwise that anchor nodelinks don't transfer moments to the connected node? Only forces are transferred.
Anchors with connected node seems to have no rotational stiffness? Displaced shape shows rotational stiffness but no moments are reported at the anchor.
If this correct can the help file please be updated.
Greetings,
You could have run a simple test to confirm,
Model simple system:
Segment A:
Segment B
Connect Segment A to B using a Connected anchor.
Analyze the model and review results grids
Conclusion:
As indicated by the results above, the Axial force and Moment inserted on the end of segment B are transferred through the Connected Anchor to the rigid anchor at A00.

Thank you Mike
I ran the same model as you as got the expected result. But the model we have problems with looks like this;
C00 and D00 are anchors connected to ground. Anchor C02 has a nodelink to C00. D02 is a completely Flexible anchor. D02 to D00 is a rigid segment.
The structure is 2m tall and the Fx force is 10kN. The moment at C00 and D00 should be 2m * 10kN = 20kN.m
These are the restraint results
Only D00 is reporting the correct moment. C00 showing the total 10kN force but only 1 kN.m.
The node link is not behaving the same as the rigid connection. Where has the moment gone?
Does a nodelink have no length, therefore can not convert a force at the anchor into a moment at the linked point?
