AutoPIPE Model gets stuck on open with "Performing consistency check, please wait..." and computer CPU goes up. Problem never ends until you exit program. Only happens to one model. Have already tried restoring to previous version of model, made changes, saved, ran successfully. The problem re-appears the next day. Have tried having another team member open the model with same issues so this is a model specific problem. What could be causing this?
Greetings,
If this is a large model with many node points, or depending on some settings, yes the consistency check can take a considerable amount of time.
At this time, without seeing the model, suggest that you Round trip the model to see if the issue continues.

Hello Mike,
This model is rather small. The error I encountered had nothing to do with size. I was able to successfully open much larger models and independently verify that the issue wasn't with my AutoPIPE specifically. Karim had be restore and round trip the model, which works at the expense of losing some progress. I never try "solved" the issue. If it happens again, I will send a .dat and .ntl.
Yes, as I had thought this was model specific issue. Again, without looking at the model it is hard to say what and why something is occurring. Again, round tripping the model resolved the issue in this case.
Note, that whenever people do not have access to the location where a model is stored, best to send an AutoPIPE APC file as instructed here. Highly recommend to not send a DAT and CMB file. The APC file generated as mentioned on link above is far superior for archiving and technical support.
