Hi!
I have encountered another issue. Yesterday, I was able to export the AutoPIPE model (using PipeLink) to Staad.Pro without problem. However, today, when I finished analyzing the AutoPIPE model and wanted to export it by clicking on File-->Export-->Model to Staad using PipeLink (*.pipelink), the dialog box "Select Data Source" comes out. I cancelled twice and error message "E90-36: Unable to export. Current pipelink file version is not supported."
Why does it prompt me to "select data source", when it didn't on previous days? What does the data source refers to? How can I correct this issue.
Thanks.
Update: this only happens to a file that I have re-save (and re-named "RavenHIPPSloop_Header(120801-OpeTemPres-Hy-Fram") today. The process still works on previous AutoPIPE model ("RavenHIPPSloop_Header(120801-OpeTem1Pres)") that I worked on yesterday. Still figuring out the root cause. Any feedback is very much appreciated.

Hello Cbkhor,
Please see the comment from the CAE development team:
We ship a Pipelink.mdb file in the installation directory which contains the schema in which the Pipelink data is exported. This files contains a Database Version in the table DB_Version. The version in this file is checked with the current version the program is using, which is hardcoated. If the database contains and old version of schema, we cannot export the file and hence this error is shown. We can request the ‘Pipelink.mdb’ file from the client to examine it. The client is using AutoPIEP 9.4.1.5 where we are using Pipelink database version 7.6. I have checked with CVS regarding that build and both number comply. If somehow there is an older version of database the export will fail.
Solution:
1. Upgrade from windows XP to Win 7 operating system.
or
2. Install the new version of AutoPIPE V8i 9.5 or higher, (not yet released). If you create a service ticket, we can send you a beta version for your to try and see if that resolves the problem)
