Meaning of "Range ID" in AutoPIPE hanger selection?

Hello,

I would like AutoPIPE to automatically select hangers from the LISEGA catalog. The Spring Size makes enough sense, but I cannot figure out what the "Range ID" means. Can anyone please explain?

Thanks!

  • The hanger report for Lisega supports tells you the spring size, example 21D1.  The Range ID tells you something else, example T20-29 R1.

This tells you that for the spring selected by AutoPIPE that a 21D1 would work, the range says anything in the 20-29 type range would suffice as long as it is in Travel Range group 1, which is the 4th number in the ID for Lisega.

After that the 5th digit is selected by the designer for the application.  5th digit for springs can be 1, 2, 5, or 6 with 1 and 2 being standard and 5, 6 being nuclear.

The 6th digit is the product series and will vary but is more than likely 9. meaning 1999 series.

Consult your local Lisega rep for further details on how each are applied, but more of these are shown in the Lisega technical specs manual available on their website
