AutoPIPE's Most Wanted

AutoPIPE's CAE development team is constantly updating the program with new enhancements based in part on already logged enhancements  from Service Requests and our belief what users would like added to the program. However, we would like to provide another avenue for people to voice their opinion on what new features they would like in AutoPIPE.

Please add your comments on what enhancements YOU would like to see added to the next version of AutoPIPE:

  • 1. The ability to create a standard set of supports at the start of the stress analysis, similar to creating PipeIDs. Often we'll have 100 supports but 10 only unique supports. The other 90 supports being copies of the first 10. So you would create a tag for each support type you need at the beginning of the stress analysis, and you would be able to keep selecting that support tag in a drop down. For example you would create an u-bolt with support tag "Fig. 10", put in 1/8" for your gaps and 0.35 for your friction settings and you would know whenever you called up "Fig. 10" it would always have 1/8" gap and 0.35 friction coefficient. It would save so much time not having to enter in all the info every time for each support.
