The following outline identifies new features and enhancements in the CONNECT Edition v41 Update 3 of AutoPIPE Vessel v41.03.00.009:

• Codes/Standards Update
  • ASCE 7-16 (IBC 2018) Wind and Earthquake.
• Chinese Heat Exchangers Design Code GB 151
  • U-tube heat exchanger tube sheet (7.4.4).  [ Technology Preview 
• External Pressure
  • Added the possibility to set mechanical properties of external pressure cases in the user interface.
• Interoperability
  • Export of Horizontal Vessels and Heat Exchangers to IFC file format (IFC4 and IFC2x3).
• Material Database
  • Added allowable stresses from Table 2A, 2B for ASME VIII Div.2 Class 1 (2017).
    (phase 1 - includes most commonly used materials, remaining materials to be included in next release).
• Drawing
  • APV DGN Viewer has been replaced by Bentley View CE.
• User Interface: Miscellaneous
  • Added liquid in packing.
  • Added specific gravity of the fireproofing.
  • Added a field "Designation" for each external load.
• Security Release Notes
  • Not applicable to this release.

• Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing)
  • This product version utilizes Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing), which is not supported by SELECT activation key(s). Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing) features new behavior to enhance your organization's user administration and security with mandatory user sign-in via CONNECTION Client to access the application. If you are already signed in to the CONNECTION Client, you have met this prerequisite. If you have not, please refer to the Administrator's Resource Center and/or contact your administrator for assistance in the registration and sign-in process.
