The following outline identifies new features and enhancements in the CONNECT Edition v41 Update 4 of AutoPIPE Vessel v41.04.00.013:

  • Codes/Standards Update
    • ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code - Section VIII, Div.1 & Div.2 - 2019 update.
  • NEW ! Introduction of Chinese Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers Design Code GB 151
    • U-Tube Heat Exchanger - Tubesheet design (7.4.4).
      Fixed Tubesheet Heat Exchanger - Tubesheet design (7.4.6).
      Floating-Head Heat Exchanger - Tubesheet design (7.4.5).
      Floating Head and Split Ring design (6.9 + 7.2 + GB-150.3 par. 5.11).
  • Interoperability
    • Export foundation loads from AutoPIPE Vessel to Integrated Structural Modeling (ISM) platform. This would enable collaboration /data exchange with other Bentley products which can connect to this platform.
    • Added support for AutoCAD 2020.
    • Added support for SolidWorks 2020.
  • Material Database
    • Added allowable stresses from Table 2A, 2B for ASME VIII Div.2 Class 1 (2017).
      (phase 2 - includes remaining materials not included in previous release). 
  • User Interface: Miscellaneous
    • Lifting Accessories Dialog improved and documented.
  • NEW ! Licensing
    • Creation of a separate heat exchanger module. This new license type will enable users to get all the benefits and features of heat exchanger module without paying for the more expensive Enterprise license option.

  • Security Release Notes
    • Not applicable to this release.

  • Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing)
    • This product version utilizes Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing), which is not supported by SELECT activation key(s). Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing) features new behavior to enhance your organization's user administration and security with mandatory user sign-in via CONNECTION Client to access the application. If you are already signed in to the CONNECTION Client, you have met this prerequisite. If you have not, please refer to the Administrator's Resource Center and/or contact your administrator for assistance in the registration and sign-in process.

  • Notes
    • Windows 7 is no longer supported.
