The following outline identifies new features and enhancements in the CONNECT Edition v41 Update 5 of AutoPIPE Vessel v41.05.00.009:

  • Defects
    • NOTE: Problems described below represent specific issues with specific test cases. It is difficult to succinctly describe a problem and how it impacted the specific test case. If you have any questions about the issues discussed in this report, please contact technical support.
      • Calculation
        • #1101456: Critical defect detected in the AutoPIPE Vessel versions CE v41 Update 4 (v41.04.00.013) and CE v41 Update 5 (v41.05.00.008) for ASME 2019 Sec VIII Div. 2 (Div.1 App. 46) code related to external pressure calculations and allowable compressive stress. The defect relates to incorrect calculations of the predicted inelastic buckling stress Fic which consequently leads to non-conservative results of external pressure calculations and allowable compressive stress.

  • Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing)
    • This product version utilizes Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing), which is not supported by SELECT activation key(s). Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing) features new behavior to enhance your organization's user administration and security with mandatory user sign-in via CONNECTION Client to access the application. If you are already signed in to the CONNECTION Client, you have met this prerequisite. If you have not, please refer to the Administrator's Resource Center and/or contact your administrator for assistance in the registration and sign-in process.
