AutoPIPE Vessel has example models under the following folder that can be analyzed and produce a report for the inspectors:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\AutoPIPE Vessel\Examples

These reports have detailed information about the calculations performed. In addition, see the following Wiki for AutoPIPE Vessel Certificate and Verification Documents

I have found a folder Examples with the subfolders: Aspentech, Honeywell_Unisim.., VesselData.
In the folder VesselData there are folders with examples: AirCooler, Component, Horizontal, Tank, Vertical.
There are examples in those subfolders but you can only run them, without any verification.

On the other hand, in the Wiki there is an ASME VIII div.1 verirification document with explained examples but they don't correspond to any of the files .emvd in the folder examples. They make reference to files llike UHX-20-1-1.emvd, etc. which I did't find.

Am I in the correct folder?

Please let me start over, The files in the Example folder are just that, examples of different types of models that AutoPIPE vessel can create. That can be opened, analyzed, and produce reports.

Then there is the Verification documents that are available to be downloaded from a WIKI site. These document are a part of the AutoPIPE Vessel ® validation procedure intended to demonstrate the application of a specified piping code through the examples provided in the various parts of Code. These documents do reference AutoPIPE Vessel files used during the verification process. However, I apologize for the inconvenience, the models mentioned are not available for public distribution at this time.

Dear Mike,

I have the same problem when trying to get the Validation Documents for the ASME code. It seems quite difficult or complicated to get to have the access to this different documents. It is now the second time I have to ask / call for this documents since it's not so clear or easy to download them.

I would suggest to have easier access to this documents. I hope I'll get this ASME validation document since we're having ASME inspection next week (!)

The way I have solved the ASME inspection was to introduce by hand the solved examples found in ASME Section VIII-Division 1 Example Problem Manual PTB-4 - 2013, follow AutoPIPE Vessel results and check that they were coincident with the results in BTP.

This take some days depending on the extensión of the verification you want to do. In the case of the tubesheet calculation verification, I could only introduce a similar but not exact tube distribution. However the inspectors accepted the little differences in the data input and the corresponding little deviations in the results.
