Tee Nozzles - Autopipe Vessel

Hello all,

I'm having a touch of difficulty with modeling practice around tee nozzles like the below arrangement:

My first attempt was to run N2 first as a straight nozzle off the bolted cover, with a secondary nozzle then run off this for N7. However one can't correctly model the tee and it's materials this way, N7 can only be run as a set upon pipe connection to the N2 riser ("with or without re-pad) . A tee isn't allowed for the nozzle connection as the model is still referencing the DN450 shell dimension from the shell below this top nozzle connection and a DN450 tee won't fit obviously (nor do we want to insert one)

The second attempt was to run a "dummy shell" in the same material as the nozzle stub and then insert a tee'd nozzle for N7. This works fine for N7 but then I am unable to run N2 either by running off the vessel shell or the N7 nozzle as a reference. It accepts my input and renders in the 3D view but doesn't show in the 2D view and strength calculations won't run. See below:

Has anyone butted up against this before? Is there a neat way to model this that I'm missing altogether?

Thanks in advance,

Grant
