Hi All,
While running the calculation for vertical pressure vessels supported on skirt, we have encountered an issue related to the top plate thickness of the anchor chair. We are selecting the anchor chair dimensions for a specific company STANDARD , and when checking the results file we discover that the program does not change the thickness of the top plate as required by the calculation. Herebelow the screenshots from the results file:
The program has selected a top plate thickness of 16 mm (ea5), while in next page the minimum required thickness is 16.69mm.
This issue is not encountered in all the vessels we model.
Any help would be appreciated.
