Is there a way to add steel rod along the vessel connected to the two flat head to reduce the flat cap thickness (the rod will take a part of tensile strength which is subjected to heads and reduce head displacement)how could i model that in AutoPIPE vessel
There is no calculation method in ASME or other codes to support such calculations hence not available in APV.
