Please bring back the old button layout and button design:
1.- Less clicks required for most common tasks.2.- Increases model window area size.3.- The icons are much simpler and easier to read.

There were many reasons to move to the new ribbon layout, and it has proven very beneficial
1. The number of Clicks are the same if you are using a File menu or a Ribbon menu selection. In fact many functions now have shorter paths like Xtra Data in the Ribbon and the majority have direct icons in the Tool Bars that previously there were only a few.
2. The graphic area in the old interface (measured on 27 inch monitor) was 22.6 x 11.5in the maximum size of the new graphics area is 23.6 x 12in with no tool bars and ribbon minimized, so much bigger now than before.
3. As monitor resolution improved the old icons were getting smaller and harder to read. The Ribbon icons are much bigger and together with the Tool Bar icons both have a better resolution so are now easier to see and support scaling better. I will agree that we had to change the images and this meant the new ones are unfamiliar, but this was forced on us to maintain consistency across products.
The Ribbon brings a more modern feel to the product and provides functionality not previously available like Search Function, customizable Tool Bars, larger icons and improved optimized workflow. It is simply a case of getting used to the new look and configuring it to work best for you.
We have had few complaints and the majority have adapted very quickly. We wont be returning to the old layout.
