Model Victaulic / Grinnell grooved coupling

Grooved coupling come in two types, rigid and flexible. The rigid coupling rigidly connects components / pipe together, while the flexible coupling allows both axial and angular movements within limits

The Bentley CAE development team has developed methods of modeling grooved fittings using Bentley's AutoPIPE stress analysis program.

  • How we can define axial siffness, torsional stiffness, Y and Z bending stiffness on flexible joint page?

our company using the same constant value for all size couplings, Do you think 4", 24" 42" flexible couping the axial, torsional, and Y, Z bending stiffness will be the same number?

We can find those stiffness number from Victaulic product datasheet,
