    Problem:

How to transfer geometry and other model data from CAEPIPE  or KPipe into AutoPIPE?

    Solution:

According to the company who distribute CAEpipe, their technical department mentioned that CAEpipe is capable of producing a PDMS mac file, DXF, Microsoft Excel, Kpipe neutral, CAESAR II (cii), PIPEstress files formats.

The easiest method at this time is to convert the CAEpipe file to CAESAR II (CII) file format and then use AutoPIPE to open the CAESAR II file directly.

Otherwise there is new features in AutoPIPE to import MS Excel files, see online help for details on that feature.
