In an AutoPIPE model, when reviewing Results> Code stresses> how to change stress plot color scheme:
How can I get the default colors ?
Making changes inside the software:
See video below to see how easy it is to change colors used on color plots from within the software:
Note: double click the colored square, select a different color, and press OK button.
Making changes outside the software:
The color settings for all the color plots are saved in the AUTOPIPE.RGB file (location based on version):
AutoPIPE 11.xx and higher:
C:\ Users\ username\ AppData\ Roaming\ Bentley\ AutoPIPE CONNECT
AutoPIPE 10.xx down to 09.xx:
C:\ Bentley\ AutoPIPE SELECTseries \
Remember, when making edits to this file outside of AutoPIPE, start by closing AutoPIPE. Using any word editing software (i.e. MS word, NotePad++, Ultra Edit, ...), open the autopipe.rgb file from the folder location mentioned above, and scroll down inside of the file to find STRESS1 - STRESS6 :
Stress1 0 64 128Stress2 0 255 255Stress3 0 128 0Stress4 128 0 128Stress5 255 0 255Stress6 255 0 0
The are Red / Green / Blue values used when entering a custom color in most Windows program. For default color palette, use those value shown above, save the file, close the file, and restart AutoPIPE.
Be sure that you have complete read / write access to the folder location above. This may require admin rights as the folder maybe outside of the "C:\ Program files\" folder. Check with your IT department to confirm privileges on your system.
Restart AutoPIPE, open a model, be sure that no objects are hidden from view (View> Show all components), if non analysis results are available run and analysis, and select Tools> Code stress> to see if the new color settings are correct or if it reverted back to the random colors.
IF this did not resolve the issue, the "AUTOPIPE.RGB" could be corrupted, please overwrite it with a file that is known to be OK or uninstall / re-install the program.
