"License Checkout" tab is blank as shown below:
Why and how to fix it?
There are 4 possible reasons why the LMT License Checkout Tab is blank:
Confirm that the computer is connected to the Intranet / Internet.
If the computer is not connected to the Intranet / Internet, contact your own IT department for assistance.
If the computer is confirmed to be connected to the intranet / internet, continue to reason #2 below.
With LMT open, select Tools> Options> Confirm "Server Name" and " Site activation Key" values are entered correctly
By default, for a Bentley Hosted server, Server Name = selectserver.bentley.com
For a deployed server, this can be any value, please check with your IT department.
After the Server Name and Site Activation Key are confirmed / verified to be 100% correct, then press the "Test connection" button. One of the following screens should be displayed:
If the "Server does not support this Activation Key" screen appears, then the problem is:
A. Server Name is wrong
B. Site Activation Key is Wrong
C. No connection to the SELECTserver, internet connection has been lost.
Nothing can be done until the "SELECTserver and Activation Key verified" screen is displayed.
Contact Bentley Licensing Team for assistance.
If the "SELECTserver and Activation Key verified" screen appears continue to reason #3 below.
Confirm the SELECTserver settings, please use the following web address:
Enter a Bentley valid login and password when prompted.
NOTE: only designated Bentley SELECT onsite administrators have access to this resource. If you do not know who is your Bentley Onsite Administrator is, please contact the Bentley License Team for assistance.
After successfully logging into the SELECTserver, press Site Configuration> Site Settings> the following should be displayed:
The "Enable Clients to Checkout License" checkbox MUST be enabled (i.e. Checked ON, as seen above). In addition, enter a "Maximum checkout Interval", suggest 365 or other value as needed.
Press Apply button and close the Window.
Repeat Reasons #1 and #2.
If after repeating Reasons #1 and #2 are completed and the problem still exists, continue to Reason #4.

After successfully logging into the SELECTserver, press Site Configuration> and press "Checkout Restrictions"
Does the user have any "Checkout Restrictions" settings turned on?
Are there any "Client Access Restrictions" settings turned on?
Are there any "Custom Activation Groups" settings turned on?
The following appears "Site Activation Key has Expired":

Why does the expiration date only allow 2 days into the future?.
This is a typical default setting. However it can be modified by any one that is registered as a Bentley On-site Admin or Co-Admin. They would need to log into the SelectSERVER and make the following adjustment under Home> Site Configuration> Site Settings> Maximum checked out interval, change to any value as needed (ex. 16 days as imaged below).
