What does the following warning mean from the model consistency check report and how to resolve?
* * * W A R N I N G - MODEL * * * W726-110: Not all gaps are non-zero for following support(s). The support will be considered as weightless instead of as-built. For as-built, enter a small gap value (0.002" min) in place of zeroes. D01 1 at point D01
As the message indicates for a support to be considered with As-built it must have a gap setting in all direction equal to or greater than 0.002".
For a V-stop where the type = Rod hanger or Shoe, gap below is grayed out (i.e. no gap setting can be entered). User must select "Bi-directional" and enter a gap setting equal or greater than 0.002" for the support to use Gaps Setting = As-built without displaying the warning in the model consistency check report.
Keep in mind that it does not matter what is selected: .Bi-directional, Rod hanger, Shoe. There is no difference in AutoPIPE analyzing these supports they are all the same. The only difference is the graphics shown in the GUI is different and Gap down is grayed out for Rod hanger and Shoe (because it is assumed that is the only bearing support direction.
