The Bentley AutoPIPE V8i Designer learning path is the recommended progression of professional development for Designer who use Bentley's piping analysis software AutoPIPE. Users accrue one Learning Unit for each hour of AutoPIPE training they complete. These Learning Units are Bentley Institute’s equivalent to Professional Development Hours (PDHs) and are added to a personal online transcript that demonstrates professional growth over time. The LIVE training and OnDemand eLearning options in the Learning Path are all based on V8i.

On demand Courses:
1. AutoPIPE Fundamentals (SELECTseries 1)
In this course, you will model and solve pipe stress analysis problems.
2. AutoPIPE Advanced (SELECTseries 1)
In this course, you will determine the stress level and interaction of pressure loads on a pipe after adding various components. Live training courses are very interactive. Students will continually engage with the instructor to ensure a successful learning outcome that includes a course assessment.
3. Test Problem
In this course, you will model a piping system and identify the causes for overstress.
4. Nozzle Flexibility
In this course, you will model nozzle flexibility, cut shorts, and trunnion supports.
5. Earthquake, Wind and Nonlinear Analysis
In this course, you will define earthquake and wind loading and perform a nonlinear analysis.
6. Hanger Design and Equipment
In this course, you will define pumps and hangers.
7. Expansion Loop and Frame
In this course, you will create anchors, supports, and expansion loops.
8. Basic Concepts
This module introduces the AutoPIPE interface and the concept of piping segments. This lecture also covers some basic tools and modifying the piping system.
9. Getting to Know AutoPIPE
This module introduces AutoPIPE capabilities and V8i enhancements, supported piping codes, and the differences between the three different version of the program.
