    Problem:

What file formats can AutoPIPE Vessel export?

    Answer:

AutoPIPE Vessel can save a model as different file types using:

    1. File > Save AS> command:

    a. AutoPIPE Vessel Data (*.emvd)

    b. AutoPIPE Vessel Project specification (*.empd)

    2. Export> command:

    a. AutoPIPE Vessel to PDS (*.eqp)

    b. Bill of Material

    c. Tube Bundle

    3. From the Nozzle Properties dialog> Local load tab> press the "Submit to NozzlePro" button

The data concerning the geometry of the nozzle and the geometrical element on which the nozzle is welded are transmitted to Nozzle Pro (which is a software from Paulin and must be installed on the computer).

In addition, please see the following AutoPIPE Vessel help section:
Help > Contents> Search Tab> enter "Nozzle Pro" (include the quotes), press List Topics button, double click on the selected topic from the list provided to see more information.

    • Default Path
    • Working Directory
    • Local Loads on Nozzles
    • Nozzle/PRO Path

If a specific format is not listed above, AutoPIPE Vessel cannot export that type of file at this time. See the following 2 options:

    1. Use another application to convert your AutoPIPE Vessel exported file into a format that is listed for the other application to import.

    2. Log a service request for the missing format to be exported. The more request for a feature, the quicker the feature will be added to the program.
