    Problem:

I would like to know if AutoPIPE calculates according to the EN 1998 codes which is needed for Bulgaria? or can I convert information between codes. please let me know since this is critical for the approval for the engineering.

    Answer:

AutoPIPE is able to model various Seismic Earthquake loads as mentioned above. With regards to the Static Seismic analysis feature, AutoPIPE V8i 09.06.00.xx has 5 different codes available:

    ALA (ASCE 2002)

    ASCE (2010)

    GB50011 - 2001

    Mexican CFE 2008

    User

As seen above, En1998 code is not a selection. However, the user can get the code values from another resource and enter them in as a "User" code type. See AutoPIPE online help for details on this feature.

The following enhancement has been logged (TFS-E97721: Add new Seismic code, EN 1998) to add this new seismic code to a future version of AutoPIPE.
