    Problem:

The following is displayed when selecting a gasket material on the Gasket type on the ANSI Check tab of the Flange Analysis module in AutoPIPE V8i:

    ---------------------------
    Bentley AutoPIPE
    ---------------------------
The Gasket Dimensions are not available for Gasket Type [Ring Joint] for Rating = 900 having Nominal Pipe Size of 36.000000 inch.
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

How to Avoid and resolve the problem?

    Solution:

The settings provided on the ANSI Check tab of the Flange Analysis module exceeds the values available in the following locations:

    a. AutoPIPE V8i 09.05.xx.xx and higher:  "asme2010.mdb" and / or "FlangeDimLib.mdb",

    b. AutoPIPE V8i 09.04.xx.xx and lower: Indicated Component library on the General Model Options dialog.

    Workaround:

Choose one of the following options:

    1. Press OK button and manually update the specific Flange data for "Gasket Inside Diameter" and "Gasket Effective Width" as needed.

    or

    2. Press OK button and update the settings on the Flange Analysis module / AutoPIPE model to be within the flange sizes specified in the specific reference codes (i.e. ASME B16.5, 16.21, etc..)

Note: if neither of these two actions are completed, the Flange Analysis will be performed using the last valid data retrieved from the library which may be in error and used to calculate incorrect results displayed in the Flange Analysis output report.
