    01. Multiple loads are not being exported / imported into AutoPIPE Nozzle, why?

    Problem:

Multiple loads are not being exported / imported into AutoPIPE Nozzle, why?

As seen below there are multiple temperature, seismic, pressure, etc.. loads being analyzed but only GR loads are being imported into AutoPIPE Nozzle, why?

    Solution:

Only those defined individual load cases that are printed from AutoPIPE Non-code combination table can be exported to AutoPIPE Nozzle. Note, AutoPIPE Nozzle does not import combinations from AutoPIPE. Combinations are automatically recreated from the combination in the program.

    Example:

Of the following load cases and combinations (Gr, T1-T5, E1-E10, W1-W4, P1-P5, GrT1-GrT5) only those individual AutoPIPE load cases (Gr, T3, T5, E5, E8, W1, P3, P5) where the PRINT check box is Enabled on the Non-Code combination tab will be imported into AutoPIPE Nozzle, as shown below:

    AutoPIPE Non-Code Combination Tab:

    AutoPIPE Nozzle:

    Note:

    1. When importing a loads into AutoPIPE, be sure to press the Update button First, then select your Nozzle / reference ID point from the Drop Down listing, and press OK button.

    2. AutoPIPE Nozzle Load Cases names do not match AutoPIPE's load case names (ex. AutoPIPE Load case  E5 becomes, AutoPIPE Nozzle E1). All the load case names are sequentially renumbered starting with 1 as indicated below:

AutoPIPE Load Case AutoPIPE Nozzle Load Case
    Gr Gr
    T3 T1
    T5 T2
    E5 E1
    E8 E2
    W1 W1
    P3 P1
    P5 P2
