Problem:

How to assign code allowable stress for hydrotest loading: hoop stress and HY stress combination in AutoPIPE?

Solution:

After creating the respective analysis sets, run a Static analysis, and open the Load Combinations dialog, as shown below:

 

Currently all the combinations have a code allowable that calculated Automatically. However, a user defined value can be specified by 

Step #1: Unchecking the respective boxes in the Auto Update column,

Step #2: Changing the Allowable (k) factor and / or Allowable Stress column values as needed.

Press OK button to close the dialog and create an out put to review the results.
