Why is my Stress Isometric created by AutoPIPE with OPIM not generated or blank?
There could be a number of reasons why this would happen, check the following:
There is no piping in the model that was saved as a Stress Isometric. AutoPIPE only creates isometrics based on piping components in the model. Beams are not exported to a Stress Isometric.
The wrong version of AutoPIPE is being used.
Only AutoPIPE V8i 09.06.02.xx and higher has the Stress Isometric feature incorporated into the application and does not require any additional licenses. However, only by using an AutoPIPE Advance or AutoPIPE Nuclear Edition enabled version of the program can a Stress Isometric be created:
The following must be set correctly:
There is no piping range selected before starting the Save Stress Isometric command.
On the Stress isometric dialog is a setting "Use Selected Range", if this option is enabled and NO highlighted selection has been made in the model than the program will produce a blank drawing.
Workaround:
a. Make a selection set in the model, and enable this option
or
b. Disable this feature to export the entire model to a Stress Isometric.
Note: If table are missing be sure that the Data Tables option is also checked on this dialog.
Unknown.
Fro some unknown reason the program is not creating a Stress Isometric. Please see the following WIKI page here with instructions to create a AutoPIPE APC file, create an Bentley Service Request (SR), attach APC file to the SR, and send for review noting that all the above were tried and did not work.
Only after receiving this APC file can an investigating be started.
