    Question

On selecting a shell component and in the materials tab when clicking on OK, the length becomes 0. How do I resolve this?

    How do I resolve this?

    Answer:

Double click on the shell whose length has become 0, if you are unable to open it because the length is collapsed to 0, you may select it from the left side item list and double click.

    Open the material tab.

Observe that the Chamber No. under the material tab for the shell  is '1'.

This is incorrect since the Chamber No. should be '2' as this is tubeside component and tubeside component is chamber no. '2', the shellside is chamber no. '1'.

Change this to 2 and click OK.

    The problem should get resolved:
