    Problem:

    For the given model with the specify load harmonic load case shown here:

    Why we see no displacement at the node where an AutoPIPE Harmonic load is imposed in the same direction?

    I would expect to see displacement of Dx = 0.59 at A02, instead it is shown as 0.00 in, why? 

    Answer:

    The reason is based on the Harmonic Dynamic Analysis settings currently configured.

    If you want to see the change the Combination method  from RMS  to MAX and include both ZPA and Missing Mass options, as shown here:

    Review AutoPIPE help to understand why these settings make such a difference.
