Problem:

The program does not retain the entered inputs at the Soil Overburden Categories menu. The inputs are cleared once I close the menu. I am trying to calculated the ring buckling with ASME B31.1. It is interesting to note that we don't have this issue with other models, only with this particular one. why?

Solution:

Something happened to the link to the database. Recommend Creating a new blank model with the same settings as that found on the original model's General Model Options Dialog:

Then in the new model use File> Insert Model > AutoPIPE Model (*.DAT):

Go through the general steps to insert an AutoPIPE model (see help for details). Suggest on the last step to check "Use Actual Coordinates" to orient the inserted model to the same coordinates as the original model.

As always, address any new model consistency items and generally check the entire model to be correct as some missing setting will be reset to AutoPIPE default settings (i.e. Tools> Model Options> General, Edit, Results..etc.).

With the new model, verify that "Adams et al." is already selected when the Buried Pipe Results dialog is opened.

The CAE development team will be investigating the root cause of this issue.
