The following is displayed in the model *.MSG file?
*** ERROR: TEE POINT NOT DEFINED. TEE IGNORED.
What does this mean and how to fix it?
The following was displayed in the model's *.MSG file
*** LAST NODE PROCESSED: xxxx TEE xxxx W
The PXF file is calling to add a component to a Tee, connect to a Tee, etc.. However according to the translation from the PXF file to AutoPIPE a Tee node point has not been correctly defined at a specific node point (ex. EG08).
Go back to the original model used to create the PXF file and review the tee location. Confirm that the tee / branch connections are correctly defined in the model and re-export a new PXF file.
Known issue for AutoPIPE CONNECT 10.01.00.09 and lower.
During PXF import if support was placed exactly at connection point of 2 pipes, then application would try to convert node to a tee at that point.
When importing files from different designing applications like AutoPLANT or OpenPlant, if a supports was placed on a straight run of pipe, AutoPIPE would insert a new node point, and then insert a support at the new node point. However, the program would not have to perform this process because the support was located exactly at the weld location between 2 pipes.
This Issue was logged under TFS-D534768, to be fixed in a future version or the program.
a. Upgrade to a higher version of the program
b. Go back to the original model used to create the PXF file and confirm no supports are placed at the weld location between 2 pipes.
