How to correctly model a reducer mounted to the branch of a Welded Tee in AutoPIPE?
Suggest using one of the following methods:
step #1: Starting from the branch of a Tee node point:
Note: header pipe is 12" dia OD
Step #2. Insert run to weld location between Tee and Reducer:
From Catalog, 12" welded tee, branch length = Dimension "N" = 10.00"
Step #3: Insert Reducer
Step #4: Insert smaller pipe run to next location
Done!!!
Step #2: Insert pipe from Tee Node point to outside surface of header pipe
Step #3: Insert pipe from surface to weld location of reducer
Step #4: Insert reducer
Step #5: Insert smaller pipe run to next location
Step #6: Select the pipe from Tee Node point to outside surface of header pipe (i.e. Step #2), Insert "Rigid Options Over Range", uncheck "Include Weight" option only
