    AutoPIPE Trainer's (Jessica Alegre) recommended resource links

    Please make sure to use the resources available to you in looking into all of these questions.  There is some helpful information within the program, including the Help Menu, Workbook and Tutorials.  From within any input in any dialog box within AutoPIPE, if you press F1, the topic specific Help Section will be brought up to explain what the program is asking for as an input.  There is an AutoPIPE Wiki Page with many questions from users answered by our technical support team.  There is an AutoPIPE Forum.  There are live Webinars and Tech Talks and also many recording of past Webinars and Tech Talks.  If you were unaware, here is a list of links:

    1. When AutoPIPE is installed, the default installed directory will beWithin AutoPIPE itself, the help menu is very useful.  When in any input field in a dialog box, press F1 on the keyboard to bring up the specific help pertaining to that topic.  Also, there is a workbook available in the help which has modeling approaches for different types of components.  You can get to the by going to Help->Workbook.

          • For AutoPIPE V8i

        i.       C:\Bentley\AutoPIPE V8i SELECTseriesX.  In this directory, there is a folder called Documents.  In this folder, there are many helpful documents for a lot of different features in AutoPIPE.  To get comfortable with the program, I recommend going through three of them, preferably in this order:

            • Quickstart_AutoPIPE
            • AutoPIPE_Tutorial
            • AutoPIPE_new_user_tips_12
          • For AutoPIPE CONNECT
