How to model Snow load (SN) for non-linear analysis?

    Problem:

How to apply SNOW load to a non-linear analysis set?

    Solution:

As of Nov 2016, Snow load (SN) can only be analyzed by using a Linear analysis. A new enhancement (TFS-E139512) has been logged to apply a SN load to a non-linear analysis. Is there a workaround until this feature has been added to the program? See below.

    Workaround:

For non-linear analysis sets apply snow load as a distributed load. Suggest to apply distributed load to GR or U1...Un, with the understanding on how this choice may affect default and user combinations.
