Problem:

Stress Isometric does not create a drawing file, why? Reason #3.

Solution:

Answer: files are stuck in the Temp folder

Generated Stress Isometric may have a different filename and/or location

Check if the DGN / DWG / DXF files maybe created with a different name in the program data folder:

“C:\ProgramData \Bentley \AutoPIPE CONNECT \isoextractor \projects \project01 \stress \dgn ”

If there are some errors in the model which is leading to incorrect naming of files, the wrongly named file may stay in the folder mentioned above and will not be copied back to the model directory.

Steps to perform:

  1. Open the directory

    “C:\ProgramData \Bentley \AutoPIPE CONNECT \isoextractor \projects \project01 \stress \dgn ”

Remove all the files from this folder location as they are only temporary files and do not affect the program behavior.

  2. While keeping an eye on the directory above, launch the stress isometric process from File->Save Stress Isometric command

  3. Check if any isometric files were generated during the process in the folder location above

  4. Were files created:

Yes, temp files were created in folder location above, these files could be opened and checked for confirmation using any isometric viewer

Furthermore, temp files are accurate, then there could be a naming convention problem due to some errors in model. Log a Service Request and send in AutoPIPE APC file for review

No, temp files were NOT created, send AutoPIPE APC for review
