    W2143-7: The joint information of User SIF or flange will be ignored at following point(s) warning message in AutoPIPE

    Applies To
    Product(s): AutoPIPE
    Version(s): ALL;
    Area: Warning message
    Original Author: Bentley Technical Support Group
    Date Logged
    & Current Version
    March. 2017
    11.00.00.22

    Problem:

    The following is displayed when performing a model consistency check report:

    * * * W A R N I N G - MODEL * * *
    W2143-7: The joint information of User SIF or flange will be ignored at following point(s)

    Why is that and how to Avoid it?

    Solution:

    Please see the following AutoPIPE help section:

    Help > Contents> Contents Tab> Bentley AutoPIPE> Command Reference> Insert Command> Piping Component Group> Bend Points> Bend Type> Pulled bend....

    This warning was added in AutoPIPE 9.0.0.8 under the following enhancement TFS-E130802: Add "Pulled" option to bend type. The application would still use the User specified SIF values at the bend's Near and Far node points when calculating stresses.

    Modeling Approach:

    See WIKI here.

    Avoidance:

    Ignore message

    or

    Remove User SIF from all bend Near and Far node points when bend is set to Pulled.
