The following dialog appears when trying to create a Stress Isometric:
---------------------------Bentley AutoPIPE---------------------------Unable to generate Stress Isometric. Please install OpenPlant Isometric Manage---------------------------OK ---------------------------
why does this appear and How to avoid it.
The message was displayed because AutoPIPE tried to create a Stress Isometric and the dependency application, OPIM, had not been installed. Or, the version of OPIM exceeds that version which is compatible with the current version of AutoPIPE.
Install OPIM.
Under "How do I download, install, and license AutoPIPE?"> select a version> Step #1: Download AutoPIPE software, are instructions to download and install some dependencies required by AutoPIPE, one of which was OpenPlant Isometric Manager :
Download and install OPIM application.
Notes:
1. Creating a Stress Isometric using OPIM is only available if using AutoPIPE Advance or AutoPIPE Nuclear license. There is no extra charge. However, always access OPIM from within AutoPIPE (i.e File> Isometric> Save stress isometric or OpenPlant isometric Manager). Never open OPIM directly as this could incur a usage charge.
2. If OPIM is installed, confirm version of OPIM does not exceed that version number listed as a dependency for the version of AutoPIPE being used (see version readme file)
Example: AutoPIPE 11.04.00.10 has a dependency of OPIM 08.11.11.225. Therefore, do not install a higher version of OPIM with out expressed instructions from AutoPIPE technical support team. If this is the case, uninstall the current version of OPIM, download and install the version of the program listed as a dependency..
