Stress Isometric does not create a drawing file, why? Reason #7.
Following appears with processing a Stress isometric:
OpenPlant Isometrics Manager------------------------------------------------------------DGN file(s) generated.------------------------------------------------------------OK------------------------------------------------------------
However when reviewing the folder location, not DGN file is present.
Reason, Iso extractor path name is missing
In addition, following dialog appears when trying to open OPIM:
Warning:------------------------------------------------------------Error adding path...
Illegal characters in path------------------------------------------------------------OK------------------------------------------------------------
Or
Failed to initialize DMSRepositoryProvider - External component has thrown an exception
Why and how to avoid?
Problem was that Iso extractor path name is missing from bat scrip.
Step #1: Close AutoPIPE
Step #2: Open the following file: "isoextractor.bat" from folder location -
C:\ Program Files (x86)\ Bentley\ AutoPIPE CONNECT v11\ isoextractor
Step #3: Locate "set MS=%basepath%" in file.
Step #4: On next line below add the following information:
set MS=C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\OpenPlantIsometricsManager V8i\OpenPlantIsometricsManager/
Note: may need to confirm that "OpenPlantIsoExtractor.exe" is located in path above, if not adjust path above as needed.
Step #5: Save Bat file and close
Step #6: Start AutoPIPE and create a Stress Isometric, DWG or DGN file should now be created in folder location
