    Problem:

    When trying to start AutoPIPE the following error message appears:

    “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application”

    Why and how to avoid? 

    Solution:

    This error could be caused by missing prerequisite application that was deleted accidentally by user, not installed during AutoPIPE installation, or blocked by some 3rd party security application (ex. Digital Guardian Agent; DGAgent ).

    Example: received same message above if VC Redist 2005 was removed accidentally and then tried to start AutoPIPE. 

    Workaround:

    First check to see to see if the problem is related to a 3rd party security application. Contact your IT support department and request to temporarily suspend the security application from running in order to validate the cause of the problem. Otherwise, ask if AutoPIPE can be added as an approved application list for the security application.

    If problem still remains, perform steps below:

    1. Uninstall current version version of AutoPIPE. 

    2. Download AutoPIPE application from Bentley

    3. Install AutoPIPE using instructions. 

    4. Start AutoPIPE
