    Problem:

How to modify multiple items fairly quickly in AutoPIPE?

    Solution:

There are typically 2 methods with which to modify components in AutoPIPE: 1. Individual dialog screens or 2. Input Grids

Both methods have their advantages and disadvantages.

    Individual dialog screens Advantages:

Able to see all a components fields in a easy to read dialog with out having to scroll around like in a grid

    Example: Pipe Properties dialog

    Input Grids Advantages:

Grid tabs group similar items together

Each tab has an Excel like feel with some Excel like commands making changes to multiple items fairly easy and quick

Able to order columns in sequential order by double clicking column headings

Make selection of items in model easier

Able to open individual dialogs directly from grid by double clicking 1st cell in row to the left.

    etc...

    Example: Pipe Properties Input grid
