Bentley AutoPIPE CONNECT Edition v11 (v11.02.00.08) - English

Bentley AutoPIPE CONNECT Edition is a stand-alone, engineering application for the calculation of piping stresses, fatigue stresses, fluid transient, bowing or thermal transient analysis, flange or pipe support design, and equipment nozzle loading analysis under static and dynamic loading conditions. In addition to 30+ piping codes, AutoPIPE incorporates ASME, JSME, British Standard, European, API, NEMA, ANSI, ASCE, AISC, UBC, GOST and WRC guidelines and design limits to provide a comprehensive analysis of the entire system.

This new release provides new features, critical code updates, and enhanced product interoperability. This is a product generation update for AutoPIPE CONNECT (v11.01.00.23) which includes several bug fixes plus the following new features:

What is New & Changed in AutoPIPE

The following outline identifies new features and enhancements in the AutoPIPE CONNECT Edition version 11.1.0. 

Analysis

• Wind loads on structural members can be defined for more accurate results. 
• Limits on Time History Profile input data have been extended.

Piping Code Updates

• Added ASME NB: Coincident Pressure Option for Levels B, C and D. 

Reports

• The Hydrotest Pressure report is now available in the Model Input Listing. 

Documentation

• To ensure clarity of calculations, a note has been added highlighting that actual component dimensions are used for stress indices calculations in ASME NB.
• Information has been added regarding the use of reinforced branch thickness for Branch connection B2r calculations for ASME NC/ND calculations.
• The Use Nominal Thickness help topic has been improved by adding definitions for corroded and reduced wall thickness and usage.
• A note has been added to the Load Summary Data Listing for the automated ASCE 7 Wind Cf calculation.

Isometrics

• The breakpoint logic for splitting drawings has been improved.

Import/Export

• CAESAR 2018 (v10) models can now be imported.
• An option to review and reset component and material mappings has been added.
• Updated the Pipelink interface with STAAD CONNECT Edition (based on the SQLite database format).

Test plans and validation data are on file at Bentley's Walnut Creek, California, USA office.
