    Problem:

    How to export to input and results to MS Excel from AutoPIPE?

    Solution:

    Let us be clear as of Feb 2018 there is not a direct export feature from AutoPIPE to MS Excel. However there are some fairly easy steps to get both model Input listing and Results output from AutoPIPE into MS Excel. 

    There are 2 methods:

    1. Grids

    2. Database files. 

    Grids: 

    One of the many cool feature in AutoPIPE would be the Input Grids and Results Grids. These MS Excel like tables store model input or results information. The user can easily perform many powerful interrogation type commands to quickly review information. Also, in a matter of seconds the information can become available in MS Excel. Let us see exactly how this would work:

    Step 1: Select any tab on the Input or Results Grids. 

    Step 2: Select the top left most cell on the grid

    Step 3: With the grid information selected, press CNTL+C to copy the information

    Step 4: Open open MS Excel worksheet, making A0 the current cell, press CNTL+P to paste the copied information

    Step 5: Done.
