Solution:
AutoPIPE Vessel offers various design standards for bracket design viz. APVessel, Technip, Foster etc.
There may be certain instances when the program may not execute with selection of the above standards, however there is a workaround for this at the moment.
Workaround
From the drop down menu select the desired standard eg. APVessel. Then click on the drop down menu once again and change the selection to “User Defined” as shown below.
Observe that all the fields still have the same value and nothing has changed from the previous selection (APVessel in this case) except that the fields which were earlier disabled or greyed out have become active now. Click “OK” and proceed with the strength calculations. The program should be able to execute this time without any issue.
