Forrtl: severe (24): end-of-file during read, unit -95, file Internal List-Directed Read error appears when using AutoPIPE

    Applies To
    Product(s): AutoPIPE
    Version(s): ALL;
    Area: Error
    Date Logged
    & Current Version
    March. 2018
    11.02.00.10

    Problem:

The following appears when using AutoPIPE

    ---------------------------
    Intel(r) Visual Fortran run-time error
    ---------------------------
forrtl: severe (24): end-of-file during read, unit 95, file C:\Users\MIKE~1.DAT\AppData\Local\Temp\AP_110300\1_4963\1.cii
    Image PC Routine Line Source
    libifcoremd.dll 0F6C91AA Unknown Unknown Unknown

    Stack trace terminated abnormally.

    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

Why and how to avoid it?

    Solution:

    Reason #1:

Open the *.CII file with any text editing application ( Ultra edit, NotePad++, etc..), confirm file is not hexadecimal or other unreadable format.

A good *.CII file has readable text as imaged above (ex. Version, project, client, etc..)

AutoPIPE can only read a valid *.CII file.

If not a valid *.CII file

    1. Go back to source of *.CII file and ask that another file be recreate for review.

    2. If file was send over email, confirm that sending or receiving company firewall did not affect the file.
