What to do to avoid the error in the floating head design
235 Floating Head (split ring): allowable stress at temperature missing (240 Deg C)
236 Floating Head (split ring): ambient allowable stress missing
237 Floating Head (split ring): exceptional ambient allowable stress missing
Why?
How to avoid it?
One possible reason for this error message to appear, the input data are not consistent: the model indicates a BXT tbut user is trying to model ashis is not a BXS.
S type means that the floating head is removable, this is not the case here, Shell Flanges-Rear Head End are missing! A Split Ring is required when the floating head is removable, otherwise this a type T.
:
To fix this issue, the user could insert 2 flanges in the shell or change the type of heat exchanger into BXT (there is no need Split Ring with a type T).
