Q, What is the best way to send files for AutoPIPE technical support

To make it easier when sending an email and storing files, we recommend adding all files to a ZIP / RAR file(s) no larger than 20.0 megs.

If your file is larger than 20.0 megs, please see the following options to upload your file to our Sharefile Location. But, do not forget to send an email to the service request number logged with the name of the file uploaded. Otherwise, it will be lost.

Available options to send files to technical support:

Option #1 - Using Bentley Service Request

Reply to Service Request with zip file containing all of the requested files.

Option #2 - Share File click here

This link provides instructions for using our Secure File Upload. This would be the preferred option for user sending files related to forum postings or files larger than 20 megs.

    Notes:

    a. Enter "None" in "Forum thread URL" on the Sharefile page

    b. Reply to Bentley with name of posted file. Sharefile is a large directory of posted files, if we do not know the name of the file how are we to know that is the one for a particular issue.

Option #3 - Your own FTP site

Post to your own FTP server, network shareable drive, or other file sharing services available and send a link that can be used to download your file.

This would be another option for user sending files related to forum postings.
