When I click on the pipe support and want to see forces & moments at that support point, small window showing result is not appearing on my computer screen.
Typical this issue is resolved by closing AutoPIPE, rebooting your computer, restart AutoPIPE, open the model, and the use command to view results information on the floating results dialog. If this does not resolve the issue, the problem is specifically related to the AutoPLAN.CNF file.
Solution #1:
Close AutoPIPE, open User's Roaming Bentley AutoPIPE folder, locate AutoPLAN.CNF file, delete AutoPLAN.CNF from this folder, restart AutoPIPE, and try to open the floating interactive F3 / Results dialog again.
If you delete this file, program automatically copies the one from program files path over to the roaming directory when you start AutoPIPE.
Solution #2:
Locate AutoPLAN.CNF on another computer running the same version of AutoPIPE (ex. co-worker, etc..). After receiving the file, copy / paste file into the User's Roaming Bentley AutoPIPE folder, and restart AutoPIPE.
Solution #3:
As a last resort, reinstall AutoPIPE.
Floating Interactive F3 / Results DialogHowever, suggest to not use this technique when reviewing results. Best to use AutoPIPE's results grids. The results grids displays a dynamic spreadsheet interface to review the output results.
- Able to see all the information in spreadsheet format
- Controls to turn on / off load combinations, (see all or just one specific combination).
- Double click column headings to put column in chronological increasing order, double click again to put column in chronological decreasing order
- Highlight active sheet view and copy directly to MS Excel for more interactive manipulations.
