The keyboard function keys F1 - F12 control settings are used a quick keys to various commands. Instead of manually locating the command just press an "F" key on the top of the keyboard.
If cursor is in the general AutoPIPE application, opens Help> Contents
If cursor is in a field of a dialog, pressing this key will open help on this specific item
Before undertaking any editing functions (i.e., Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, Scale, Rotate), it is necessary to first define a range of points to be acted upon.
When selecting a continuous range, the easiest method is usually to select the first point with a mouse, then press and hold down the Shift key while selecting the last point
Select Range (F6) cannot be applied for selecting beams
Right Click the mouse button to cycle the Pan-Zoom-Rotate commands.
Double click the Left mouse button to exit zoom mode.
Closes current dialog
Does not work with load dialogs
Displays quick keys for each command on Quick Access Toolbar and each ribbon.
If pressing a quick key for a ribbon, that ribbon will expand further displaying quick keys for each command available.
