License Configuration - What do you see (v.41.04..xx.xx)

Each time AutoPIPE Vessel is started, the application will display the AutoPIPE Vessel Licensing splash screen as shown below, unless the "Show licensing on startup" (lower left corner) check-box is disabled.

Select a single radio button

Depending on your licenses available in the License Management Tool, select the appropriate AutoPIPE Vessel Edition radio button.

Demo:

After installation, AutoPIPE Vessel will run in Demo Mode until it is properly authorized. To ensure compliance with the terms of your purchase agreement, a security system is utilized. All software authorization for new Bentley products is handled by the Bentley Security Manager.

When Demo mode is selected the program will NOT allow the following commands:

- Save the model

- Use Calculate Strength

- Generate Drawings

- Perform Cost Estimation

- Add-on codes

These features are only available in the full Vessel or Vessel Enterprise licensed version.

Again, users can create any type of vessels in the UI but they cannot be saved, In addition, users can open an existing model in the UI, but you cannot run Strength Calculation.

Pressure Vessel (Standard):

Only a limited amount of the program features can be used, select link here for features available with this level of licensing enabled.

In addition, per contract agreement, only one vessel Add-on code is provided with this level of licensing. Additional Add-on codes can be included to the contract, talk to Bentley salesperson for details and pricing.

Important: Shell & Tube heat exchanger can only be modeled with an Enterprise or Heat Exchanger license and not a Standard license.

Indicated Add On codes

Only those codes with a check box enabled next to them will be available in this session of using the program

Note: User should only enable the check box next to the Add-on code mentioned on their contract. Enabling any other Add-on code that is not indicated on their contract will constitute over-usage and user will be invoiced accordingly. These Check-boxes cannot be locked out, Users must self regulate add-on usage not indicated on the contract. Many users like this ability to only be charged for usage instead of having to add another full time add-on code to their contract. This feature saves many users a lot of money and is very convenient to use as needed.

Heat Exchanger:

This license type will enable users to get all the benefits and features (see link here) of heat exchanger module without paying for the more expensive Enterprise license option.

Enterprise:

All program features and all Add-on design codes will be available with this level of licensing, see link here for completely list.

Notes:

1. Grayed out text

Meaning - item cannot be used at this time because additional requirements have not been fulfilled.

Example: "Pressure Vessel (Standard)" radio button is unchecked and all add-on code text shows as being grayed out.

#2: Cannot enable Radio button

This may be directly related to your licensing settings.

Step #1: Confirm that you are signed into CONNECTION Client.

Step #2: Confirm licensing settings, open BLT (Bentley Licensing Tool) to confirm that licensing is correctly set. Contact your company's assigned Bentley On-site admin for User Entitlements.
