    Problem:

    Is the correct Soil Factor per EN1998-1 being used?

    Solution:

    There was an French rule from 2010-10-04 where the values of S (Soil factor) are different from the EUROCODE

    EN 1998-1:2004+A1:2013:

    S = 1.8 for ground Type D

    S = 1.6 for ground Type E

    French Rule 2010-10-04:

    S = 1.6 for ground Type D

    S = 1.8 for ground Type E

     AutoPIPE Vessel conforms to the Eurocode (EN 1998-1:2004+A1:2013).

    The user can enter a user-defined normalized spectrum to get different values of S (S is equal to Ra in the Dialog).
