    Q. Does AutoPIPE backup any files to the cloud?

    Answer:

As of Aug 2021, No Bentley AutoPIPE does not store any program or model information to the cloud when creating and saving files to your local computer / network.

However, there are 2 features built into AutoPIPE that users can leverage for better project control and model management:

    1. CONNECTED Project Portal

    2. Bentley ProjectWise

When using ProjectWise command in AutoPIPE, the following applies:

    - If clients are using Bentley hosted services for their Projectwise application then yes Projectwise DB and server maintenances tasks will be carried out by Bentley Cloud support Team, which includes DB back as well

    - If clients are using on-prem hosted servers to host their own Projectwise Integration server then DB and Server maintenances will be taken care by their local IT Teams, Bentley will not play role in that

How user can know if they are using Bentley hosted services are not

    - When they launch Projectwise explorer client, click on Tool, go to Network Configuration Settings, go to Datasource Listing tab à here they should be able to see some Hostname entry specified

    If the hostname
