AutoPIPE Advanced includes all codes available in AutoPIPE Standard, as well as the following codes.
AutoPIPE Nuclear includes all codes available in AutoPIPE Standard and AutoPIPE Advanced, as well as the following codes.
Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing) is Bentley's new licensing model, providing enhanced security and optimized value for your Bentley Subscriptions. It is integrated with Bentley's Identity Management System (IMS) and the Bentley CONNECT technology platform to allow near real-time reporting of usage, improved alert messaging to users and increased administrative capabilities to license administrators in your organization. It will not only give you more options to monitor and manage usage but also provide new, advanced licensing features that will enhance digital workflows.
With Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing), all users must be registered with Bentley's Identity Management System (IMS) and sign in to the CONNECTION Client to access Bentley applications. Product activation will now occur through user sign-in to the CONNECTION Client with a valid IMS ID associated with their account. User sign-in will replace traditional activation keys, offering enhanced security as administrators will be able to control which users have access to Bentley software. License entitlements are granted and maintained through Subscription Entitlement Service's (formerly CONNECT Licensing) Entitlement Management Service. By signing into the CONNECTION Client users can also find their organization's projects, download software updates, receive relevant notifications, and track their usage.
For extended offline scenarios beyond the offline period of products (i.e. usually seven days), Subscription Entitlement Service provides the capability to reserve or check out licenses - click here for further details.
Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing) features the new license alerts notifications that can be set by an organization's license administrators to let the users know when they reach a set usage threshold. These notifications will alert the users that if they continue to use the product, a term license may be issued. The user in such a situation has the choice to quit the application before a license is used or acknowledge that a term license may be generated and proceed with starting the application, based on what settings the administrator chooses.
The product will run in evaluation mode.
Go to www.bentley.com to request activation information.
For SES Licensing:.
AutopipeSetup.exe -s -LicenseType=Connect
The following outline identifies all major errors fixed in Release of AutoPIPE v12.7.
The program now uses the correct value for weld strength reduction factor as given in table 102.4.7 of ASME B31.1. Additionally, to assist in the screening of the models created in previous program versions for any potential impact by this defect, the program automatically examines the model database after opening the model and generates a report (model name + "_D673380.TXT"), listing the pipe IDs potentially impacted by this defect. The program displays a confirmation message. .
EN13480 design stress, ff, is split into two temperature ranges - operational and creep; however, when a sustained or occasional combination temperature is operating in the creep range, AutoPIPE still takes the design stress in the operational range, which is zero. Instead, it should be taking the allowable from the creep range if the operational design allowable is zero.
The first report line of a soil point was not always printing in the General Pipe Code Compliance report due to an error in the XML templates. A fix was introduced that now prints the first line of the soil point, as well as the SIF in/out data.
Offset values may be incorrectly calculated based on the given reference point. While creating an equipment (Turbine/Compressor/Pump), when a reference point is entered, offset values are calculated automatically and correctly the first time. But when the equipment is opened again for modifying, changing the reference point calculates incorrect offset values. When modifying equipment, in order to correctly calculate the offset values based on reference point, you need to change/re-enter the suction/discharge/extraction points and then change the reference point.
An issue in the AutoPIPE post-processor has been discovered that prevents the stress data from printing the +ve face of bend midpoints when the stress reports are sorted from maximum stress to minimum stress. Additionally, only the -ve face of the bend midpoints are displayed in the interactive code compliance color plot. If the maximum stress in the model is on a +ve face of a bend midpoint, the sorted result summary and interactive color plot will not display them, leading to a consistently unconservative stress summary. This error only affects sorted stress reports and color plots, i.e. unsorted reports still print the correct +ve midpoint face data as well as the correct maximum stresses. A fix was added to reinstate the +ve face for sorted stresses and interactive color plots.
An issue existed when fetching the Halo-delimited line for Rigid. The character length for the importing variable was too short, cutting off the trailing delimiter. Thus, the program could not find the terminator and began to read in invalid memory causing the associated crash. The solution was to expand the memory allocated for character read-in. Additionally, there was a behavior discrepancy for automatically setting the field to "Free" when the input value is greater than 1e5, similar to how the form sets the field to "Rigid" when the input value is less than or equal to 1.0. This behavior discrepancy has been resolved under this bug..
